The eight legs are cast using the lost wax process to preserve the very fine detail of the rams head and the hoof at the floor. Then the inlaid brass trim on the top is achieved with etching brass sheet with the pattern desired. Then the leaf pattern is cast in brass with the lost wax process giving real depth and definition to the trim. Then the whole table base is assembled and finished with an acid finish on the brass giving the aged and very special look of the base. Then different parts are polished back giving different colors and character to different parts of the table. The glass insert is cut and hand beveled to give a rich deep look and allowing you to see down into the brass shelf below. This is a real show piece that you will be proud to have in your home.
